Cortland Foundations LLC is a maker of women's intimate apparel, brassieres, and girdles. They occupy a three story 19th century 45,000sf mill that would require a substantial amount of heating oil each year due to the local climate, inefficiency of the historic building, and the requirement of a wet sprinkler system to maintain a minimum of 55° in the entire facility at all times.
The existing 50hp boiler was retrofit with a 2 million BTU burner to enable the use of Smarter Fuel, and the savings have been substantial!
Despite the winter climate of central NY, the building is warmer than ever before!
